“ This was an excellent choice for lunch as we were exploring the Atlantic Beach NC area. This is one of those restaurants that attracts both repeat local business and vacationing folks. The wings are a signature offering and Monkey Grill did not disappoint! My husband said they were top notch. As a vegetarian, I ordered a small house salad and a veggie sub. The salad was a generous portion and was very good. The sub was fresh, and yummy. The bread seemed be bakery-baked style. The portion was also very generous and the other half served as next day lunch. The prices were good and service was excellent. ”

“ Went for lunch had huge wings and a cup of seafood bisque. Wife had a BLT. Had some craft drinks which were very good. The food and service were fantastic. Only complaint is they don’t have a dedicated fryer for seafood limiting things like fries and wings for my wife to eat due to her allergies. ”

Southwest salad was huge and had great flavor. The club sandwich was about 2" inches thick with high quality meats. We will be back ”
“ If I could give a 10 star review, I would. My two best friends and I are vacationing from NY. We decided to eat lunch at the Monkey and are we ever glad that we did. Becky was the BEST! She was juggling the whole place by herself and never skipped a beat or lost her smile or sense of humor! Stop in and give it a try, the food was amazing, especially the Crab Dip, the Spinach salad and the grilled chicken sandwich. Thanks again Becky for the top notch experience. ”

“ Monkey bar and grill in Atlantic Beach North Carolina is a wonderful restaurant and bar. The wings are absolutely delicious! We like the battered wings dipped in the mild sauce which is a little sweet. It’s our favorite. They have a great variety of food from steaks to sandwiches salads and oh by the way the Greek salad is delicious! All-around wonderful place to go. Good service! ”
